Are the subsidy amounts up to date for 2026?
All calculators use the PM Surya Ghar 2026 rates: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW, and ₹78,000 for 3 kW and above. Uttar Pradesh state subsidy of ₹15,000/kW (max ₹30,000) is also included where applicable.
Do these tools work for commercial and industrial loads?
Most tools support residential, commercial, and industrial use. The Solar Calculator and Payback Calculator have specific modes for commercial loads with 0% subsidy, different tariff slabs, and accelerated depreciation.
How accurate are these calculators?
They use 2026 pricing, state-specific tariffs, MNRE subsidy slabs, and real generation data from UP districts. Final quotations after site survey may vary by ±5–10% based on roof conditions, DISCOM requirements, and panel/inverter availability.
