This app is not a government app. We do not represent and are not affiliated with the Government of India, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, UPNEDA, or any other government entity. Subsidy amounts shown are estimates based on published scheme rules — not a promise of payment. Approval and disbursal are decided solely by the government.

Yes. The app is free to download and every calculator is free to use. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription — you only pay if you buy a product or place an order.
No. All eight calculators work without signing up, and without an internet connection — the maths runs on your phone. You only sign in at checkout, or to track an order or installation.
Yes, exactly. The app and the website share one calculation engine, so a system size or subsidy figure you get in the app matches the one you get here.
No. BL Solar Solutions is a private solar installer and this is not a government app. Subsidy figures in the app are estimates based on the published scheme rules. The official PM Surya Ghar application and its status live at pmsuryaghar.gov.in.
Not yet — the app is Android only for now. On an iPhone you can use the same calculators on this website, which run the identical engine.
The central PM Surya Ghar subsidy calculation applies across India. The state subsidy on top of it, and our installation and service coverage, are for Uttar Pradesh.
