Circulate a survey or WhatsApp poll among residents. You need at least 50% participation for meaningful volume discounts.
BL Solar Solutions conducts a free site survey of the society — roof type, shadow analysis, common area potential, and electrical infrastructure.
We prepare a consolidated proposal with per-flat costs, expected savings, subsidy details, and timeline. Each flat gets an individual system with PM Surya Ghar subsidy.
Pass a resolution in the general body meeting approving solar installation. This is needed for common area systems and any structural modifications.
Each participating household applies individually on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. We handle all documentation. Each home gets its own subsidy.
Installation happens in phases — typically 5–10 homes per week. Minimal disruption. Each system is commissioned and net-metered independently.

Net Metering for Housing Societies
Individual Flat Net Meter
Each flat that installs solar gets its own bidirectional meter from the DISCOM. Excess power generated during the day is exported to the grid and credited against your evening and nighttime consumption. You only pay for net usage.
Common Area Net Meter
The RWA can install a separate system on common areas (club house roof, parking shade, water pump area) with its own net meter on the society's common electricity connection. This offsets lift, pump, lighting, and garden costs.
DISCOM Coordination

Bill Credits
