Solar Installer

Responsibilities

• Install rooftop solar panel systems (1kW to 10kW) on residential and commercial buildings
• Mount solar panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring as per the system design
• Perform electrical connections including DC wiring, AC wiring, and earthing
• Conduct pre-installation site assessment including roof structure and shading analysis
• Ensure all installations meet UPNEDA standards and safety regulations
• Test and commission installed systems, verifying performance and generation output
• Coordinate with the sales team on installation scheduling and customer communication
• Maintain tools, equipment, and installation vehicle in good condition

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in rooftop solar panel installation
• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
• Hands-on experience with solar panel mounting structures, inverters, and DC/AC wiring
• Knowledge of net metering process and UPNEDA installation standards
• Comfortable working at heights on rooftops
• Must own or be willing to use a two-wheeler for site visits
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols for electrical work
• Able to read basic wiring diagrams and system layout plans
